AEC was engaged by Lowrie Construction Pty Ltd to complete the structural design and provide fabrication support for a blast resistant pre-fabricated electrical building as part of the Macedon Gas Project. The electrical building was designed as 3-off individual units, which were designed to be connected on site to form a complete building. The units were fabricated in Lowrie’s Maddington yard for transport to the BHP Billiton site located at Ashburton North, near Onslow in Western Australia.
