AEC was engaged by Woodside to perform a structural assessment of the Submerged Turret (SPT) Protection Frame, which had been damaged by repeated impact during re-connection of the Ngujima Yin FPSO to the submerged mooring turret. AEC then performed conceptual and detailed structural design and installation / lift planning of a replacement modular Protection Frame.
