AEC was engaged by WEL to perform visual inspections, structural assessment and propose remedial solutions for several emergency egress stair towers and pipe support structures throughout the Northern Endeavour FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) Vessel. These structures exhibited signs of severe corrosion and section breakdown. The Northern Endeavour FPSO Vessel is scheduled for decommissioning in late 2015.
