Jeff graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1976 with an honours degree in Civil / Structural Engineering. The first 5 years were spent in the commercial, industrial and domestic sectors before moving into the oil, gas and resource industries.

Jeff has extensive experience in lifting and rigging systems, offshore brownfield projects, front end engineering design (FEED) and management of structural projects. This experience includes site attendance and close contact with fabrication and construction activities. He has been a member of a number of teams carrying out investigation of incidents and understanding the reasons behind such incidents.

Jeff is keen to solve engineering problems and seek innovative solutions to engineering challenges. “There is no job that cannot be done” but equally “the devil is in the detail”. His experience and knowledge gained over many years are incorporated into his work.
