Len has over 25 years of experience in structural engineering in the resource industry through all life cycle phases including concept development, specification development, front end engineering, software analysis, detailed design, verification, fabrication support, loadout design, seafastening design, lift design, on-site installation support, upgrade design, design verification, assessment for life extension and decommissioning. This has included design of primary steel and secondary steel on major greenfield projects in the North West Shelf, Timor Sea, Gulf of Thailand and Bass Strait as well as a variety of brownfield projects ranging from fast track resolution of issues impacting on production to planned long term improvements.

This experience has encompassed subsea structures, jackets, risers, topsides, FPSOs, support vessels, marine facilities and onshore infrastructure.

Len has a keen focus on customer communication, and regularly meets with customers to identify needs and develop effective outcomes. His broad base of experience enables him to quickly come up to speed with facility requirements for projects and identify key issues relevant to fabrication, installation and operation that need to be considered.
